Stockholm city installed Actibump on two sites in 2020 for an evaluation over a period of two years. Their evaluation led to the Actibump being added to their portfolio of solutions – Åtgärdskatalogen. They are now free to use it on other sites where they have traffic safety issues but the accessibility for heavy traffic is a priority as well.
Their results from the evaluation are that the share of drivers that are speeding has decreased and the 85th percentile speed has decreased from over 40 km/h to ca 30 km/h on the two test sites where the speed limit is 30 km/h. The traffic safety on these sites has improved very much!
